REPRESENT: A GROUP SHOW

For Think Tank Gallery’s third art exhibit, in 2013 we teamed up with a Tumblr tastemaker, hijaktaffairs curator Christian Ramirez. Moving from selecting works for his popular online feed to his first physical show curation, Ramirez brought a selection of alumni from the Laguna College of Art & Design, where they had studied representational painting. REPRESENT highlighted painters who had taken that education into diverse and new genres, and the show was a varied one.

Opening night, was sponsored by artisan grilled cheese brand SQIRL, who provided the first of our "blue collar feel with a high art appeal" catering, soon to become a calling card of our shows.
