DUDE, MONSTERS!

In 2012, we worked with artist Luke Pelletier to curate an exhibit of street and skate art called Dude, Monsters!, our first of a long line of such shows. (About) 20 street artists, skaters, punks, and otherwise artsy kids showed original works based on what they think it means to be a monster.

The show was our first to put a skate park inside of our gallery, kicked off our immersive environmental design with Brandon Monk Muñoz’ “Surrealist Skate Ramp,” and began a tradition of curation by way of friends inviting friends, a style introduced to us by Pelletier.
